When should I contact and start hiring a financial advisor?

There are no fast and hard rules when you should contact or hire your own advisor. You can get recommendation your friends, relatives or colleagues. Be open to meet and chat with the them so you will know which advisor will fit you the most. 


You should start a financial planning for yourself as early as you got your first job and paid cheque or even can be as late as when you are in your 40s or 50s year old. 


Do always remember that whatever you plan now is for your future. It is your responsibility. 

What are my options for growing money?

It depends your existing portfolio, financial health, budget and risk profile. Your advisor should able to give recommendation and advise after they have done a proper financial needs analysis with you.

What’s the difference between financial planning and retirement planning?

Financial planning covers all aspects of a person’s financial well-being. This includes savings, investments, retirement and college savings plans for your children, insurance coverage and estate planning. 


Retirement planning covers only investment  made for retirement.

How often should I see my financial planner?

While your financial planner may make a different recommendation based on your particular circumstances, it's a good idea to see him or her twice a year. You should also consider making an appointment in anticipation of life-changing events such as marriage, the birth of a child, divorce, or after inheriting a large amount of money.
